Non-Instagramable Designs

Not all projects are Instagramable.

Although what we mostly see on social media is flashy projects for high-end properties, these do not reflect the reality of a Landscape Designer's life.

In many cases we work on projects that aim to solve everyday problems or address mundane needs. Sometimes a dysfunctional space just needs a face lift, and sometimes we work on technical drawings for permitting purposes. These are the kind of projects that don't make their way into a designer's portfolio or win design competitions. Instead, these are the projects that solve people's problems and have an impact on their everyday lives. That's why we treat them with all seriousness, just like we treat a high-end project.

In this project, we designed a new driveway and an addition to a dysfunctional carport that was too short for the client's car. Along with solving the client's problem, the design also offers a safe and inviting front yard by providing, lighting, retaining solutions, and decorative paving.
