The goal of this design was to bring this sprawling open yard to a comfortable scale with distinct spaces for outdoor cooking and dining, casual seating, and a fire pit. Pathways crisscross between lush planting beds, encouraging exploration, and there is something new to discover around every corner.

The designer built-in kitchen with its wisteria-covered pergola is a central focal point, bringing the idea that “the kitchen is the heart of the home” into the outdoors.
